Welcome to Castleden Trees

Castleden Trees is a well established nursery in north Suffolk. We specialise in the production of native broadleaf trees and hedgerow plants.

We grow our stock from seed locally sourced where possible. Each plant is in an individual cell which ensures good growth and a sturdy root plug that transplants quickly and easily.

Trees are usually graded into two sizes: 20-40cms and 40-60cms.

We are happy to discuss your planting requirements and since we have excellent contacts throughout the industry can usually find species not already in the nursery. We can grow trees on a contract basis or from seed supplied by the customer.

Cell grown plants are easier to store and transplant as the root system is undamaged. They can withstand a delay in planting so long as they are kept damp and are quick and convenient to plant with a dibber.

Visits to the nursery are welcome by appointment but we usually require a few days to prepare orders for collection.
